Experience tomorrow
Conceived as a refined architectural environment, the LAUFEN stand translated our new visual identity into space while presenting an expanded portfolio of high-end bathroom solutions.
The clean lines, harmonious geometries, deep tones and carefully selected materials created a setting with a restrained yet distinctive language, designed to highlight the quality of the collections and the experience of the contemporary bathroom as a complete architectural space.
Unfolding through a sequence of immersive layers, the stand was arranged around a central agora acting as the focal point. Visitors were invited to be led by their intuition, exploring the spaces on a discovery of LAUFEN’s most sophisticated collections.
The world premiere of Vitreon Steel
At Salone del Mobile, LAUFEN introduced the world premiere of Vitreon Steel, a new material that extends the brand’s premium bathroom range with a significantly expanded portfolio of new washbasin models. Smooth as glass and strong as steel, Vitreon adds a new dimension to the LAUFEN material universe.
Defined by refined geometries, sophisticated finishes and subtle colour nuances, Vitreon offers a new tactile experience and a timeless aesthetic that integrates seamlessly with LAUFEN’s existing collections.
A new chapter for Kartell by LAUFEN
Thirteen years after the launch of Kartell • LAUFEN, the two companies introduced a new evolution of the project under the creative direction of Ferruccio Laviani. At the centre of this development is VITREON steel, which expands the expressive language of the collection.
Laviani presented the two directions of the project: the design of a new bathroom cabinet, beauTwash, inspired by the shape of the letter T, and a revisiting of Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s Componibile as a column washbasin with integrated storage.
A dedicated area at the stand introduced PAR, the new bathroom concept developed in collaboration with Konstantin Grcic. The collection supports daily routines, working intuitively, without the need for explanation.
PAR marks the second collaboration between LAUFEN and Konstantin Grcic and a new chapter in the exploration of Saphirkeramik. The ceramics of PAR are produced in the world’s first electric tunnel kiln for sanitary ceramics in Gmunden.
Additionally, Grcic curated the exhibition at LAUFEN space Milano during Fuorisalone, titled When Time Becomes Material.
Following previews at major trade fairs in 2025, VOLTA was presented as a collection available for acquisition for the first time at Salone del Mobile 2026. Fired in the E-Kiln in Gmunden, the radically new washbasin concept showcases the poetry of water’s movement in nature and reduces consumption of this precious resource.
